Hey there, Delilah

Hey there, Delilah
What's it like in EU countries?
I'm a thousand miles away
But, girl it seems so great in stories
we have bombs flying over heads
Yes, it does
I swear, I’m scared

Hey there, Delilah
Don't you worry about my safety
I'm right there when i get money
Just take care of our baby
Close your eyes
Listen to my voice, it's my disguise
I'm by your side.

Oh, just stop blaming me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, I’m a refugee
Oh, I’m a refugee
I’m a refugee

Hey there, Delilah
You know times are really hard
I’m working all the time
Someday we’ll gonna chill in our yard
We'll have the life we knew we would
We'll have it good
My word is good

Hey there, Delilah
I know that they dont really want me
But I’m gonna learn the language
If I’m able to get over seven seas
I’m gonna find a job I need
To be with you

Oh, I’m a refugee
Oh, just stop blaming me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, I’m a refugee

Some people in Europe think
That only reason we came here
Is to get money from social support
Reality is not that good
Our homeland is in serious war
We’re just looking for peaceful place to stay

Delilah, I can promise you
That by the time that I get there
Our life will get back to its normal pace
Less problems to face

Hey there, Delilah
You be good, and don't you miss me
Few more weeks and i’ll be on a boat
And we will meet as soon as possible
You know it's all because of you
We can live life peacefully right there
Hey there, Delilah, I miss you
I'm missing you.

Oh, I’m a refugee
Oh, just stop blaming me
Oh, it's what you do to me
Oh, I’m a refugee
I’m a refugee, oh oh, woah, woah
Oh woah, oh, oh
